Engineered For Beauty and Safety
Making certain that a site is right for a home starts with a competent site analysis. A site analysis begins with a thorough geotechnical investigation. Once it is determined that site is suitable for residential construction, a survey of the site is conducted. Bellaheim will make every effort to best orient your home on the site.
Our foundations are carefully designed by State of Texas Licensed Professional Engineers. Typically, we use post tension slabs. Post-tensioning strengthens and reinforces a slab-on-grade foundation to allow it to resist the effects of difficult soil conditions.
Home plans appearing complex in design are diligently studied by our team our approved and state licensed structural engineers. Our engineers and architects make every collaborative effort to ensure designs are not only beautiful but safe. At Bellaheim your safety comes first.
What is Right Certified?
Right Certified® is a Bellaheim proprietary method of value engineering and constructing homes; not an outside third party program or certification. Though many third party programs and organizations do an excellent job of setting standards and methods of construction in their particular areas of focus, they usually don't cross their focus boundaries. With Right Certified® we take homebuilding to another level.
A higher level you will appreciate when you see what's included in every home we build. As NAHB Certified Green Professional, we build energy efficient and environmentally friendly because it's Right for our planet. We include methods, products and amenities because you would expect them to be included and that makes it Right for You and Us.
What is a Green Home?
A green home is designed to have a positive impact on energy efficiency, environmental performance and human well being. LEED is a point-based certification system that measures how well a home performs as a green home.
The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to a prosperous and sustainable future for our nation through cost-efficient and energy-saving green buildings.
What is LEED FOR HOMES?
LEED for Homes is a voluntary rating system that promotes the design and construction of high-performance green homes, including custom design, stand alone single-family homes.
It's simple. At Bellaheim, we believe in smart building.
That means you can expect impressive features and the highest quality in craftsmanship and materials, to be included in your home. We build From the Heart for families just like yours and ours. This has inspired us to integrate the most chosen features into our homes at no extra cost to our customers. So what's most important to you, is simply standard.
We believe building a house around your lifestyle truly is the smartest way to buying a home. Consider many of the key advantages to starting new, with a home that reflects your style and your needs:
Livable Floor Plans - They feature maximum light and spaciousness designed to meet your needs!
Imaginative Design - You can pick and choose the features that best meet your needs and budget, such as dramatic entryways, soaring ceilings, deluxe master bath, innovative windows, interior columns.
Lots of Light - A house filled with natural light bestows warmth, charm and comfort for those inside. Skylights, transoms, half-rounds, taller double hung windows are just some of the ways that make new homes look and feel more open.
Cost Saving Heating and Cooling - New homes consume half as much energy as homes built before 1980. This is due to more efficient heating and cooling systems, better windows, controlled air infiltration, and improved insulation.
Fire and Safety Features - Hard-wired smoke detectors, complete alarm systems, circuit breakers, and ground fault interrupters make new homes a safer and smarter choice for families.
Healthy Living Environment - When it comes to health risks, new homes offer clear advantages. Asbestos is no longer used in shingles, piping, cement board, roof tar, floor tiles or insulation. Lead is no longer used in paint or as solder.
Stronger, Quieter Construction - New building materials and new truss systems for roof and floors increase strength and make roof and floors quieter.
More Luxury - State-of-the-art kitchens and baths you can help design. Kitchens have ample counter space and storage, island workstations, built-in pantry, task desk, breakfast bar, and recessed lighting. Luxurious bathrooms have large vanities, enclosed showers, whirlpool tub, and separate dressing area.
Abundant Storage Space - Walk-in closets, built-in pantry and closet maid shelving allow you to customize your storage areas to meet your needs.
Less Upkeep, Less Hassle, More Protection - New homes are easy to maintain and keep their fresh, attractive appearance. In a new home you have a new home warranty, in addition to all the manufacturers' warranties which are not available in a re-sale home.
